Everything was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the staff. The welcome snacks and drinks were a super nice touch, and the cold towels after a yoga class were refreshing. The quick clean halfway through our stay was unexpected but greatly appreciated. The design and style of everything was jaw-dropping, and Jules and her team did an amazing job making us feel welcome and relaxed. We enjoyed every single second of our stay and will definitely be coming back!

This lovely hideaway exceeded all expectations and truly provided a jaw-dropping experience. The attention to detail throughout the accommodations and the stunning views were mind-blowing. The exceptional hospitality of the owner made us feel right at home, and the special yoga session with Andria by the river was absolutely amazing. The passion and love she put into teaching were evident and left us feeling incredible. The proximity to nature and beautiful scenery added to the charm of this cozy farmhouse, and the owners Warren and Jules were caring and helpful. The pool, river, and well-stocked villas provided everything we needed for a perfect getaway, with the added bonus of having the space to ourselves. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The Farmstead villa was like stepping into a cozy, rustic dream. The private entrance made it feel like our own little retreat, and the seating area was perfect for lounging with the kids. Plus, having a stovetop in the room was so convenient for cooking up some delicious family meals.
Although the cottages at The Farmstead offer a fully-equipped kitchen, we personally didn't use it much. But hey, some might still find it useful!

The property's location was ideal, with easy access to nearby Franschhoek. the views from the property were stunning, especially with the entrance over the river. the staff were friendly and accommodating, providing comprehensive instructions and offering to mail back forgotten items. the cottages were well-equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen including coffee, tea, and even a bottle of wine. the attention to detail in the rustic yet modern farmhouse decor was remarkable.
The lack of soundproofing in the cottages made it quite noisy at times.

We had a tremendous time at this beautiful property! the location was perfect, allowing us to explore the nearby wine regions easily. the cottages were beautifully designed with recycled timbers and natural stone, and we particularly loved the outside verandah and fireplace. the staff were delightful and the daily cleaning service was a plus. the eco ethos of the place was admirable, and we enjoyed the al fresco showers in the outdoor bathrooms.
One small downside was the limited sound insulation between the cottages, which made it a bit noisy at times.

My partner and I stayed at The Farmstead for a weekend getaway and it was absolutely perfect. The peaceful surroundings, close proximity to Bosch and Dal wine farm, and beautiful rooms with their own verandas and outdoor showers were all highlights. The hosts and staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We also loved the delicious breakfast each morning and the sustainable touches throughout the property. The big terrace with a hammock and braai was a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the starry night sky. We highly recommend staying at The Farmstead for a couple of nights to fully experience everything the farm has to offer.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

Our family of four had a fantastic stay at the Farmstead Villa. The directions were initially confusing, but easy to follow once we were on the right path. The villa was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we could ask for, including fresh towels, bath products, and even a loaf of delicious bread and farm-fresh eggs for breakfast. The staff were incredibly helpful and even brought us additional breakfast items. The pool and playground were perfect for our kids to enjoy, and the peacefulness of the surroundings exceeded our expectations.
The villa was part of a larger property with multiple cottages and villas, which made it busier than we expected. The sound insulation between the cottages was not great, and there were some issues with the fan in the large bedroom and stuffiness in the smaller bedroom.
